Tonight, take a look again at the presentation on the liberator hero that was shared with you via email earlier in the day. If you like, you can use the link here to access the presentation.
Examine each of the paintings, and compose a blog post in which you do the following:
Note similarities between the portrayals. What do they have in common? Why do they have these things in common?
Then: Why do the artists portray these figures in this way? What does this accomplish in terms of future generations regarding these men?
Then: Why do these revolutions need to have heroic figures? What is heroic about them--is it their actions, their persons, or their ideals that the artist is celebrating?
