AP World--WWII

For tonight, read pages 1048-1059.  We will discuss the war in Asia and the holocaust.  If we have time we will talk about the start of the Cold War as well, but we may not get there, so pay attention to the Truman Doctrine, the Marshall Plan and the United Nations, as they play a key role later.

AP World History

For tonight, read pages 1031-1037.  Keep in mind that as we are discussing World War II, the focus is not on the European theater, but rather is the rest of the world.

DBQ time

We'll have a DBQ in class tomorrow focusing on the four empires in distress we've been reading about in Chapter 32--Russia, China, Japan and Ottoman. Review the content shared in the Google Documents today and the scoring components of the DBQ.

You also should read pages 909-915 in the book--the start of Chapter 33.

AP World--update from the blackout day

Hi Folks-

So in light of losing Friday (get it?), I will try to get us lab space on Monday.  You are all responsible for doing the reading of Chapter 32 over the weekend, and getting your individual part done to hand in Tuesday. We will share the group compositions Wednesday, and move on from there.

Alcohol Ed/people who missed class, your groups are as follows:

Sabrina Ottomans
Cameron China
Andrew Japan
Sophia Russia
Rupini Ottoman
If you are in one of those groups, please contact the above and clue them in as to who is doing what on the rest of the assignment.
